Our Auction house address is torhoutsesteenweg 553, 8400 Oostende, Belgium. We have plenty of parking spots in the front and in the back.

 

Invoices are sent out 48 hours after the auctioneer has sold the last item on the auction.

Auction Total: Your Bid + a Buyer’s Premium of 25% + Online Live Commission + a Potential Resale Right

  • Drouot: 25% + 1.5%
  • Bidspirit: 25% + 1%
  • Lot-tisimo: 25% + 5%
  • Epailive: 25% + 3%

A sellers premium is a fee that’s added on the price of an item. For a total of 15%.

If you see an item you want you have multiple ways to place a bid. First option is to register on any of our partnered platforms (LiveAuctioneers, Invaluable). You also have the option to place a written, telephone bid.

Original art is subject to resale right if the author is either a living artist (from the EU) or within 70 years after their death, a resale right is due on the hammer price from €2,000 onward:

o 4% of the part of the sale price from €2,000 up to €50,000
o 3% of the part of the sale price from €50,000.01 up to €200,000
o 1% of the part of the sale price from €200,000.01 up to €350,000
o 0.5% of the part of the sale price from €350,000.01 up to €500,000
o 0.25% of the part of the sale price above €500,000

However, the maximum amount of the right may not exceed €12,500.

Even if this amount is not collected when the invoice is issued, the customer can still be obliged to pay this amount for 5 years following to comply with the resale right. All information about resale right in Belgium can be found at www.resaleright.be.
